Establishing a connection
As the Spectator you can visit app.remaid.io to access the remAid WebApp and instantly start using remAid, without having to install anything.
The only thing you need is a stable internet connection.
The login page appears, where you can find links to additional information and the ‘Room-Code’ Input Field.
To start a connection you first need to receive a Room Code from the Operator you want to connect to.
The Operator can send the Room Code to the Spectator through any medium of their choice.
They, for example, might have a quick phone call with the Spectator, or send a textmessage.
As soon as the Spectator has received the Room Code from the Operator, they can type the received Code into the ‘Enter Room-Code’ field and hit ‘Enter’ or press the ‘Connect’ button.
In case you should have entered the wrong code, the input field will turn red and you will not be redirected to the loading screen.
Please try entering the correct code again.
Loading Screen
Once you succesfully entered a valid Room Code, the WebApp will build a connection with the Operator’s device, while displaying the loading screen.
While loading the connection in the background you will be requested to grant access to the microphone, in case you haven’t already priorly done that. If you have accidentally disallowed the access to your microphone, please check out our Troubleshooting guides for the different browsers:
After you have allowed the App to access your microphone, the loading screen automatically switches to the main screen after just a few seconds. You are then ready to start your remAid experience. If the Loading Screen does not forward you to the remAid main screen after more than 30 seconds, please return to the Login Page by clicking the ‘Exit’ button on the top right corner of the screen.
