Leave Session & Reconnect
Short Session Breaks
In case you want to directly restart another session afterwards, it is best to just close the Room.
You can close the Room by clicking on the 'Close Room' button in the panel on the right side of the Hand Menu. It is important to know, that this doesn't close the remAid application, but just the Room.
Reconnect
To reconnect to your partner just click on Open Room again.
You will get a new Room Code, which you have to tell the Spectator.
The Spectator types it in on the remAid WebApp and you will be reconnected.

Reconnect & Short Session Breaks
In case you want to leave the session just for a short time and reconnect just a little time later, just click the Exit Button at the left corner of the screen.
The Operator can meanwhile stay in the Open Room and doesn't close the Room.
The following step also applies if your connection got interrupted e.g. due to internet problems.
You can still use the same Room Code to reconnect.
If you want to reconnect to the Operator just type in the same Room Code again as before.
Leaving the session
If you permanently want to leave your current session just click on the Exit Button at the left bottom corner of the screen.
After having confirmed that you want to leave the session, you will be redirected to the login page.
Now the session is closed. The Operator will receive an audio notification, that you have left the session.
Session ended: The Operator (HoloLens) has to close the App afterwards
Once the Spectator or the Operator has permanently left the session and the room is closed, it is important that the Operator closes the App properly in the HoloLens.
To close it correctly, you first have to open the HoloLens Menu by tapping the Windows symbol on your wrist.
Then tap the ‘Home’ (house) icon at the bottom of the Windows Start Menu.
After you have closed the App, it is very important to close the remAid closing App Panels. Otherwhise malfunctions in the app might occur, when you open it the next time.
To entirely close the App, you always have to find the remAid closing App Panel and press the ‘x’ Button at the top right corner. In case the App hasn’t been closed correctly in previous sessions, there might be more than one App Panel. Please make sure to find all of the closing Panels and close them, by pressing ‘x’. Only than the App is closed correctly.
We do not recommend to stop the connection, by simply turning off the HoloLens. This might lead to malfunctions the next time you start the connection, as the closing App Panels haven’t been closed.
